We are delighted to announce that Prof. Jan Krämer has been appointed as a member of the Wissenschaftlicher Arbeitskreis für Regulierungsfragen (WAR), the scientific advisory board of the Bundesnetzagentur. In this role, Prof. Krämer will contribute his expertise to an independent interdisciplinary body of scholars that advises Germany’s Federal Network Agency on regulatory issues of general significance.
The WAR regularly provides the Bundesnetzagentur with scientifically grounded insights and publicly available opinion papers on legal, economic, and technical dimensions of regulation across energy, telecommunications, post and rail sectors. Comprised of experts from diverse academic fields, the group reviews current regulatory questions, discusses them in meetings with agency leadership, and supports regulatory policy formulation with evidence-based recommendations.
