We, the HSG Winfo Passau, are an association of students studying Business Information Systems (Winfo), Digital Transformation in Business and Society (DTBS), Business Administration and Economics, as well as anyone interested in business information systems.
Our goal is to connect students studying business informatics across different semesters, as well as graduates of the above-mentioned degree programs.
In doing so, we aim to create opportunities for new connections, personal and professional exchanges, and networking across degree programs, semesters, and generations.
The HSG Winfo Passau is currently on hiatus.
However, the HSG Winfo events—in particular the alumni get-together and the SitSit —will continue to take place.

The graduates' get-together continues to take place regularly and brings together students, doctoral candidates, alumni, and other interested individuals.
When: Every 3rd Thursday of the month starting at 7:00 p.m.

Everyone is invited—whether you’re a student, doctoral candidate, alumnus, or simply someone interested in business informatics.
The focus is on a relaxed and informal get-together: meeting new people, reconnecting with old acquaintances, sharing experiences, and discussing studies, research, careers, and everything in between.
What is a SitSit?
A SitSit is a traditional Finnish academic dinner party. Participants sit together at long tables, enjoy food and drinks, sing songs and take part in various games and activities throughout the evening.
What makes a SitSit special is the combination of food, singing, student traditions and social interaction. The evening is usually guided by toastmasters or songmasters who lead everyone through the programme.
Our SitSit brings this Finnish tradition to Passau and combines it with the unique atmosphere of university life. It is a great opportunity to meet people from different study programmes and backgrounds and enjoy an evening together.
A special connection between Passau and Turku
Our SitSit is closely connected to the DEMA Double Master's programme and the special relationship between Passau and Turku.
Since 2023, this friendship has been celebrated through a SitSit once every semester. Each event has its own theme and combines Finnish traditions with the student culture of Passau.
